<p>Street running N–S along the W foot of the *Quirinal from the *Via Salaria Vetus to the untitled road issuing from the *Porta Sanqualis (s.v. *Pallacinae: Street); remains have been uncovered beneath Via dei Lucchesi, in the area S of the *Campus Agrippae (Lanciani, <i>FUR</i> pl. 16). This street has been associated with the name “Vicus Caprarius”, first attested in an early-12th c. papal bull, by modern scholars (Richardson; with caution: Serra, Coarelli).</p>
