<p>Well-preserved chamber-tomb on the W slope of the *Quirinal belonging to a C. Sempronius, his sister, and his mother Larcia (<i>CIL</i> VI 26152). Now located in a cellar below Palazzo S. Felice, the tomb has a travertine façade with an arched entranceway leading to a vaulted tomb chamber carved into the tufa hillside. Much of the tomb’s superstructure is extant, including the façade which faced onto the *Vicus Salutis, an important road from the *Campus Martius to the *Porta Sanqualis and the Quirinal. The tomb is dated to the second half of the 1st c. B.C. based upon the lettering of the inscription and style of the architectural decoration (Lanciani).</p>
