An inscribed funerary relief of the Aletius family found on the S side of the *Via Nomentana (CIL VI 34357; CAR III, B no. 16; Lanciani, FUR pl. 4). The late-Republican travertine relief depicts three male (all labeled C. ALETIVS) and one female (inscribed ALETIA) portrait busts; their hairstyles and garments suggest a Caesarian date (Balty). Since this type of sculpture was designed to be encased in the façade of a tomb, it is likely that the monument of this family was located in the vicinity (Quilici Gigli, Balty).
