<p>Remains of several tombs were brought to light in the 1920s near the intersection of Viale Regina Margherita and the *Via Nomentana. Three rectangular tombs, two in <i>opus reticulatum</i> (<i>c</i>. 5.5 x 4.0 m and 4.5 x 3.5 m) and one of <i>opus latericium</i> (<i>c</i>. 3.5 x 3.5 m), were unearthed on the N side of the Via Nomentana (<i>CAR</i> III, B no.14 II a; Quilici Gigli). Also in the area was a tomb with two rooms in <i>opus reticulatum</i>, enclosed by a perimeter wall in <i>opus quadratum</i> of tufa blocks (<i>CAR</i> III, B no. 14 III). Just S of this were walls of another Republican-era structure (*Via Nomentana: Building) and the Aletii monument (*Sepulcrum: Aletii)</p>
