Republican-era residence of T. Pomponius Atticus, located somewhere near the Temple of *Quirinus (Cic., Leg. 1.1.3) and not far from the Temple of *Salus (Cic., Att. 12.45.1, 12.48.1). No archaeological remains of the domus survive but it was said to have been a tasteful rather than a costly home, with charming gardens (cuius amoenitas non aedificio sed silva constabat: Nep., Att. 13.1.2); this passage provides an important indication of the type of élite housing that characterized the S part of the *Quirinal.
