Large residence along the lower W slope of the *Palatine, located just above and S of the *Horrea Agrippiana (Krause 192: in sectors 28-29, at level III-IV of the domus Tiberiana; on occasion described as the house near the Bastione Farnesiano, e.g., Papi 1998, 51 n.37; id., LTUR IV, 26). Remains include a reticulate foundation wall parallel to the W side of the hill, as well as other foundation and dividing walls in tufa blocks that Krause interprets as tabernae (shops or stalls) opening onto a street, and Papi (1998) as two cryptoportici. Carandini has associated this residence with that of M. Antony, which burned in 25 B.C., though this is far from universally accepted (for other proposed locations of Antony’s home: Papi, LTUR II).
